We’re proud to announce that to close this year’s Campaign for World Refugee Day we’re launching a Working Group on the New EU Pact on Migration & Asylum, to take concrete action, challenging the myth of neutrality at borders and spread solidarity with refugees and migrants, understanding how to overturn this new EU policy, which is set to take effect in an year, effecting the lives of thousands of people.
The goal of the Working Group is to strengthen our alliance, prepare for the challenges ahead, and stand united against border injustices.
What will the Working Group do?
• Host online meetups with experts to educate members about the Pact.
• Develop a shared roadmap for 2026 activities.
• Compile reports on asylum seekers’ new conditions in Europe.
• Create advocacy tools to support your local and policy work — all grounded in solidarity and a commitment to human rights.

Everyone who is interested in contrasting this unjust policy and Not just EU members!
