International UNITED Conference near Malaga (Spain), 4-9 May 2015 (*)
Overcome all borders: UNITED against Intolerance
UNITED invites your organisation to nominate for the UNITED Conference near Malaga “Overcome all borders; UNITED against Intolerance”. This conference takes place from 4 to 9 May 2015 and will focus on the intolerance migrants face in Europe with an emphasis on the scapegoating reaction to migration at Southern European borders.
Our aim will be to explore the current situation in Europe and to develop strategies in order to advocate for migrants rights and against intolerance. We will work on strategies in order to address media, local communities, local and international level politicians, and vulnerable groups.

International UNITED Study Session, 6-13 April 2015
“(Re)Act for equal opportunities online and offline”
At the European Youth Centre of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, France
UNITED invites your organisation to nominate for a special study session at the European Youth Centre Strasbourg, in cooperation with the Youth Department of the Council of Europe.
The session aims to bring together the expertise of 35 young NGO representatives, willing to discuss, experience and participate in sessions on how to deal with discrimination and racism online, using the positive approach of human rights and non-formal education. It will motivate and enable them to step in when they witness situations where racism, discrimination and hate speech are spread online.

UNITED for Intercultural Action is the largest pan-European anti-racist network of more than 550 organisations. UNITED organises twice a year the UNITED network conferences, and regularly UNITED Study Sessions at a European Youth Centre. At these meetings antiracist and human rights activists from all over Europe meet and discuss effective ways of combating racism and discrimination. At a recent UNITED conference held in October 2015 in Georgia participants from 35 countries discussed the topic of Traditional Values and Fundamental Rights.
