UNITED represented at Music Freedom Day, Budapest

On Thursday, UNITED was represented at the Music Freedom Day 2016 event in Budapest. Hosted by the Bakelit Multi Art Centre the event featured a number of exciting sessions, including a jam session, break cypher and sound painting. It also saw the launch of an exhibition of photos donated by the Council of Europe as part of its “No Hate Speech Movement” campaign. UNITED’s Balint Josa was present to give a speech to officially open the exhibition. UNITED campaign materials were distributed to visitors, who came from all over the city for a day of innovative musical performance, and a celebration of diversity.

The event was also a participating event in UNITED’s European Action Week Against Racism campaign. Find out more, including about all events going on near you, on the campaign website, on the campaign Facebook page, and the UNITED Twitter account.

The European Action Week Against Racism campaign has been funded with support of the Council of Europe (European Youth Foundation), the Erasmus+/ Youth in Action Programme of the European Union and the Open Society Foundations.
