UNITED Campaign Launch – Human Rights Superheroes – 9 November 2016

This year, to mark the International Day Against Fascism and Antisemitism on 9 November, and Human Rights Day on 10 December, UNITED is coordinating a campaign to celebrate Human Rights Superheroes – people from past and present who made great contributions – and often great sacrifices – to defend the rights of others.

SPREAD THE WORD – Read UNITED’s Human Rights Superheroes profiles and share them on social media!

UNITED has produced a whole series of profiles of Human Rights Superheroes, that you can browse on our campaign website at www.dayagainstfascism.eu. Mark which of the Heroes inspire you and share your favourite profiles via social media! Use your organisation’s social media channels to engage more people with the campaign!

TAKE ACTION – Make your own Human Rights Superhero profile and submit it to UNITED!

Do you have your own Human Rights Superhero that inspires you? Make a profile of them and share it with UNITED! Your Human Rights Superhero could be a famous activist from past or present who inspires you, or even someone from your own community who works tirelessly to protect the rights of others!

Your Human Rights Superhero profile could take any format you like – an image, a video or a short text. If you want to produce a graphic, feel free to use the templates provided on this page to help you with your design – or create something new! Once you have your profile, share it on social media with the hashtag #HumanRightsHeroes – and send it to UNITED using the form on this page, or by e-mailing us at 9november@unitedagainstracism.org. We will also share it on our website and via social media! The deadline for the campaign is 10 December 2016!

If you represent a city, or would like to involve your city representatives in the campaign, please click here to find out about our Cities campaign!

STAY UPDATED – Follow the #DayAgainstFascism online

Throughout 9 November, UNITED will be tweeting and posting on Facebook about the 9 November activities happening all over Europe. Make sure you LIKE the campaign Facebook page and FOLLOW UNITED on Twitter to stay up-to-date with the campaign. If you are organising or taking part in an International Day Against Fascism and Antisemitism activity, post about it using the hashtag #DayAgainstFascism and UNITED will spread the message.
