The Council of Europe adopted a new Recommendation to the member states on youth work on 31 May 2017.
UNITED is proud to announce that supporters of its network have been involved in the development of this recommendation and welcomes its adoption by the Committee of Ministers. We believe that it represents a milestone in shaping the future of youth work and youth policies in Europe.
The recommendation highlights that young people are a key resource for building a social and just Europe, and providing them with structured support is an important investment Europe has to make for its present and future.
