UNITED for Intercultural Action is the European network against nationalism, racism, fascism and in support of migrants, refugees and minorities. UNITED is offering a communications internship to help with campaigns and conferences for the next 3-6 months.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Assisting in all communication-related tasks, such as graphic designs, publications as well as working on the newsletter, website, social media implementation, etc.
- Contribution to monthly newsletter, as well as input into 4 yearly campaigns and 2 yearly conferences
Term and conditions
- For a duration of minimum 3, but preferably 6 month internship
- Internship location is remote, while the office is in Budapest, Hungary
- Erasmus Placement preferable but not required
Required skills and experience
- Very good knowledge of written and spoken English
- Creative writing skills
- Background in communication, media, graphic design or similar
- Familiar with the concepts of Social Media and online marketing
- Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, or Canva a plus
- Precise and organised way of working
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office package
- Capability of working in a team as well as independently
- Comfortable working in a multicultural environment
Highly valued
- Knowledge of video editing and/or animation tools
- Knowledge of HTML and/or CSS, experience in web design
- Fluency in other European languages
