As the EU is currently grappling with hosting and integrating refugees and asylum seekers, we need long-term solutions to be successful.𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗵𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗱𝘂𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘁, 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗷𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆𝘀 (𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗴𝗲𝘀), 𝗶𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗲.
This is precisely why we are actively engaged in the REFUGIN project, a collaborative initiative to develop comprehensive training programmes and cement civil society synergies, all aimed at enhancing the integration of refugees and asylum seekers.
