Call for Participants – R2COM Training on Prevention and Countering of Violent Extremism (P/CVE)
Weโre looking for 5 Hungary based NGOs professionals/workers interested in the Prevention and Countering of Violent Extremism (P/CVE) to join a three-day training from the 17th to the 19th of October in Toulouse within the R2COM – Radicalisation and Violent Extremism Prevention in the Community project, of which weโre proudly partners.
The Training will primarily focus on increasing awareness about radicalization and violent extremism.
Topics to be covered accordingly are:
the process of radicalization and its various phases, as delineated by models like the Three Pyramids Model and the Attitudes Behaviors Corrective Model, risk and protective factors according to Kruglanski et al. (2019),
diverse extremist ideologies such as Islamist, right-wing, left-wing, and single-issue extremism,
significant attention will be also given to the context of radicalization in both prison/probation settings and community settings.
