Last November 3-4 in Krakow, Poland, UNITED Delegate Eunice Ondo, attended a regional meeting hosted by the European Network Against Racism (ENAR).
The meeting included comprehensive training sessions and interactive workshops aimed at enhancing knowledge and skills in project management, fundraising, advocacy, and impact measurement. The meeting also emphasized cross-country collaboration by providing networking opportunities for participants to exchange ideas and best practices, further enabling civic organisations like UNITED to better address emerging challenges and opportunities in today’s time.
Within the two-day event, the need for the establishment of a stronger regional network among the participating NGOs, fostering ongoing communication, collaboration, and knowledge sharing were highlighted. With a focus on empowering participants and cross-country partnerships, and establishing a sustainable support system, the meeting aimed to strengthen the organisations in the region and enhance their efforts in combating racism and discrimination. More meetings and consultations with the network are expected to follow in the future.
