Statement from Balint Josa, Director of UNITED

Dear Friends and Partners,

After 10 years, I am excited to announce that I will be transitioning to a new position from UNITED, which means we are opening the search for a new Director to take over the leadership of this remarkable network.

This moment is both reflective and forward-looking. During my time as Director, we have achieved significant milestones, strengthening our mission to combat racism, promote human rights, and create a united Europe. However, there is still much work to be done, and the time has come for new leadership to carry this torch forward. We moved the Secretariat to Budapest and stabilized the funding and partook in many projects and built new alliances.

We are looking for someone with a shared passion for these values, someone who can lead the organization with vision, integrity, and commitment. This person will continue to work with our incredible team and network partners, pushing the boundaries of what we can achieve together.

I look forward to continuing my journey within UNITED in a consultant capacity, and I am confident that our new Director will bring fresh energy to this role. I invite you to share this call widely, and I encourage those interested to consider this unique opportunity.
Thank you for your support, and I am excited for what lies ahead.

With solidarity,

Balint Josa
Current Director, UNITED for Intercultural Action
