The 2nd edition of the European Youth Digital Summit (EDYS 2016) aims to foreground youth participation by using digital tools in order to fight online hate speech. Approx. 100 youngsters, youth workers, educators and human rights and IT professionals are expected to attend the event. There will be two workshops, one on youth participation and one on no hate speech. EDYS 2016 is organized under the High Patronage of the European Parliament and under the Patronage of the Slovak Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The event is part of the dissemination activities of Balkans without hate project, coordinated by 35mm NGO, with the support of the European Commission through Erasmus+ Program, Key Action 2- Capacity building in the field of youth. In the same framework, GEYC organizes EQUALIS Campaign (geyc.ro/equalis) and HaSpe research (geyc.ro/haspe-en).
