The theme of the conference is the impact of science and policy perceptions of immigration (policy). When we look at the immigration field we see imaging at different levels: at the micro level (individual migrant), meso level (immigration and immigration process) and macro level (immigration). Not only influence exerted by the government on imaging, other actors are active in this field (lobbying groups, advisory boards and academics).The conference ends with a plenary panel discussion. On the proceeds of the workshops discussing the plenary panel of experts. Potential members of this panel are: a communications scientist, a representative of an NGO, a journalist and director of the immigration process.
