The growing number of migration flows multiplies transnational love stories. Some are experienced and grow in Europe. Nevertheless, legislations, administrative practices and prejudices are obstacles for binational families and couples who wish to exercise their right to family life in Europe.
Specialised European NGOs have gathered themselves around this thematic: they created in 1990 the ECB network (European Conference for Binational/Bicultural relationships). The NGOs are located in 8 countries in Europe (Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Spain, Switzerland).
