This conference provides a comprehensive understanding of the EU legal framework on alternatives to detention (ATDs) for asylum seekers and migrants and presents a broad range of practices in selected Member States. The results of the research conducted in the framework of the project will be presented by the coordination team and project partners, together with interventions from practitioners, judges, academics from several EU Member States as well as representatives from EU institutions and international organisations.
