Overall context
This manual has been created for activists, youth workers, human right organisations workers and volunteers.
The pandemic in 2020 has accelerated a phenomenon that has been part of our lives already, for people in NGOs and in the private sector: our work, our activities and our courses have been moving online. We all are using many different platforms, apps and software to facilitate our work online, but also our personal life and to stay in touch with friends and family. As much as this is a great achievement and we have been adapting quickly to this change, we also need to be aware that with the great opportunity of greater connection come big risks, especially for people working in our field.
